Pier-Emmanuel Tremblay is a Hubble Fellow at the STScI. He obtained his PhD at the Université de Montréal (2011), which was awarded the Plaskett Award from the Canadian Astronomical Society. From 2011 to 2013 he was an “Alexander von Humboldt Fellow” at the Zentrum für Astronomie Heidelberg. He is interested in stellar atmospheres, radiation-hydrodynamics, and white dwarfs as a physics laboratory, and probes of Galactic history.
