Andrew Fox received his PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2005. Before joining STScI in 2011 as an ESA-AURA Astronomer, he held postdoctoral fellowships in Paris, Santiago, and Cambridge. He is interested in the mechanisms by which galaxies feed their star formation, in particular in the Milky Way where everything can be viewed in great detail.
